The Bachelor of Care and Emotional Intelligence (BCEI) is an interactive experience which envisions the future of care work, developed as part of a futurology elective at the UTS TD School. The BCEI experience takes the form of an 'open day' workshop for an imagined university degree, in a world where soft skills have become more valued than productivity.

I worked with a transdisciplinary team to research and design the experience, which was delivered as part of a Future of Work showcase in 2019.

Methodology

Horizon Scanning

A data-driven process of using emerging patterns to detect the early signs of potential developments.

Causal LAyered Analysis

A sensemaking technique used to examine current issues in depth and identify alternative futures.

I acknowledge the Cabrogal people of the Darug Nation, the traditional custodians of the land where I live and work. I pay my respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.
